Timber
Creek
Timber
Creek offers 14 kilometers of groomed
terrain that vary in difficulty allowing for even the
most inexperienced skier to enjoy. Their staff work constantly
to improve and groom the trails, keeping in mind the "rhythm"
or feel of the trail, taking into account primarily the
vertical changes. The trails offer beautiful views of
the Mount Snow valley, travel through confer stands) and
cross many streams, some by bridges as much as 30' long.
Timber Creek works to insure a positive experience for
skiers, not just out on the trails, but from the moment
they set foot, (or boot, as it were) in the shop. Customers
can usually come in, get equipment if necessary, purchase
their trail pass, and be out on the slopes in under 30
minutes. Lessons are also available for every ability
level, from absolute beginners to advanced skiers.
The center is open daily from 9 am to 4:30 pm. A $35
fee will cover equipment rental, lesson and trail
use charge. Used equipment is also available for purchase
at the shop. Rental alone, for on or off-premises
use, is $14, and $11 after 1:30 pm. Seniors are just
$11 per day, all day. For skiers with their own equipment,
who just want to make use of the trails, the fee is
$14, or again, $11 after 1:30 pm. Kids 12 and under
can rent for $7 for all day use or $5 after 1:30 pm.
Group lessons are held at 10 am and 12 and 2 pm on
weekends. Private lessons are available all day during
the weekend and by appointment during the week. Group
