Pet Policy

Thank you for choosing the Red Oak Inn for your vacation while traveling with your pet. We welcome pets in our (3) specially designated rooms which means we limit the number of pets for everyone’s convenience. We offer pet-friendly rooms that provide a second door that leads directly outdoors to more easily walk your pet. We only accept pets less than 80 lbs.

We would like all of our guests to be happy here including our four-legged ones. We kindly ask that you follow these restrictions:


1. You must declare your pet to us. There is a one-time Pet Charge of $30.00 per pet (limit of 2) to defray the additional cleaning costs; this charge may be increased if the stay is more than four days. If an undeclared pet is discovered in the room, a $50.00 charge will be assessed. Please leave a credit card imprint with the Front Desk upon check-in.

2. Pets are not permitted in the common areas of the Inn – lounges, dining room; game room; or the pool area. Pets must always be on a leash. 

3. Please be considerate of others and pick up after your pet. Plastic bags are available at the Front Desk.

4. Please make arrangements with Housekeeping so your room can be serviced each day.

5. Please do not leave your pet alone in the room.

6. If your pet becomes a nuisance (barking, damage, etc.) the Management has the authority to ask you to leave the property. If any damage occurs, you will be responsible for the replacement cost and there is a minimum charge of $50.00.
